About Color Profile (ICC Profile)



There are two color profiles (ICC Profile) for each models. Each profile is generated for use of monitor under the adjustment described below. Select the profile to match the adjusted monitor.

(1) Monitor is adjusted to 6500 K & Gamma=2.2

Color Profile: *** Custom 6500K G2.2.icc
Monitor Adjustments: Color Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 6500K
Gamma--------------------- 2.2

(2) Monitor is adjusted to 5000 K & Gamma=2.2

Color Profile: *** Custom 5000K G2.2.icc
Monitor Adjustments: Color Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 5000K
Gamma--------------------- 2.2

NOTE

*** indicates the model name of monitor.

* What is the ICC Profile?

A specific file including the color characteristic information for the device, settled by ICC (International Color Consortium)

Settings
  1. Click the Start button and select "Control Panel".
  2. Click "Hardware and Sound" and click "Color Management".
  3. Select "Display" from the "Device" pull-down menu.
  4. Check the "Use my settings for this device" and click "Add...".
  5. Click "Browse..." and specify the folder where the Color Profile is saved (the CD-ROM drive or the folder where the downloaded file is saved) in the "Look in:" section.
  6. Select a suitable Color Profile from the list then click "Add".
  7. Select a suitable profile from the list in the "Profiles associated with this device:" and click "Set as Default Profile".
  8. Click "Close" to close a menu.


For using on Windows 7
Settings
  1. Click the Start button and select "Control Panel".
  2. Click "Appearance and Personalization".
  3. Click "Display".
  4. Click "Adjust resolution", and then click "Advanced settings" of "Change the appearance of your display".
  5. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Color Management...".
  6. Select "Display" from the "Device" pull-down menu.
  7. Check the "Use my settings for this device" and click "Add...".
  8. Click "Browse..." and specify the folder where the Color Profile is saved (the CD-ROM drive or the folder where the downloaded file is saved) in the "Look in:" section.
  9. Select a suitable Color Profile from the list then click "Add".
  10. Select a suitable profile from the list in the "Profiles associated with this device:" and click "Set as Default Profile".
  11. Click "Close" to close a menu.

For using on Windows 8
Settings
  1. Right-click the mouse on the "Start" screen at a position where there are no tiles.
  2. Click "All apps".
  3. Click "Control Panel" under "Windows System".
  4. Click "Appearance and Personalization".
  5. Click "Display".
  6. Click "Adjust resolution", and then click "Advanced settings" of "Change the appearance of your display".
  7. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Color Management...".
  8. Select "Display" from the "Device" pull-down menu.
  9. Check the "Use my settings for this device" and click "Add...".
  10. Click "Browse..." and specify the folder where the Color Profile is saved (the CD-ROM drive or the folder where the downloaded file is saved) in the "Look in:" section.
  11. Select a suitable Color Profile from the list then click "Add".

  1. Click the down arrow at the bottom left of the "Start" screen.
  2. Click "Control Panel" in the displayed list of applications.
  3. Click "Appearance and Personalization".
  4. Click "Display".
  5. Click "Adjust resolution", and then click "Advanced settings" of "Change the appearance of your display".
  6. Select "Color Management" tab and click "Color Management...".
  7. Select "Display" from the "Device" pull-down menu.
  8. Check the "Use my settings for this device" and click "Add...".
  9. Click "Browse..." and specify the folder where the Color Profile is saved (the CD-ROM drive or the folder where the downloaded file is saved) in the "Look in:" section.
